Seasons

Sometimes, some light
won’t break through,
some parts of clouds
and parts of you.

Sometimes, you’ll feel yourself
excruciatingly split in half,
and the light to fill the cracks
won’t ever be enough.

By your side, the sun will hover
and you’ll begin to wonder
why, at such short distance,
it didn’t even bother
to extend its light a bit further.

When this happens,
focus your attention
on the way light bends
at certain directions.

On the way it takes into account
every corner, every sound,
every part and every piece
to create its very own masterpiece.

Darkness comes for a reason.
One day we’ll look back
and we’ll be glad for the seasons
