Love and life, intertwined like twine,
Both a gift, both oh so fine.
One brings joy, one brings pain,
Together they make us whole again.

In life we seek, love to find,
A heart that beats with yours combined.
A smile, a touch, a gentle word,
Brings a warmth that can't be deterred.

Life may be hard, with its ups and downs,
But love will lift us, above the frowns.
It gives us peace, it gives us grace,    
A bond that will endure time and space.
