Once I met a girl
really beautiful
she had a half mask though
acid splash from a man who envied her
that didn’t stop her
she worked endlessly
and even adopted a village
that didn’t stop her either
she found her self in places
“Little mother teresa” they called her
her parents must be so proud, they said
little did they know how they left her
and how I found her fragile and small
body on a winter night at the hospital.
a brave soul who does anything for humanity
she is an IAS officer and my baby sister.
