Creative Writing

The heart longs for what it seeks,
but the mouth is imprisoned unable to speak.
The heart burns for the comfort it needs,
and the body aches, wanting to be freed.
The soul desires what cannot be reached,
Yet it continues to seek, wanting to reach
Over and over, it reaches for a bleak
Yet, the warm hands of comfort cannot be given by man.
Thus seek not from the man what man cannot give
For serenity is only from the will of thee Lord
