To Mom

I know someone who'd be there for me
Who'd close her eyes to make me see
The beauty of the world she knows.

She believed I can reach my dream
No matter how high it may seem
I'd follow her anywhere she goes.

She'd bring me up whenever I'm down
Whenever I'm sad she'd be my clown
Just for me she'd give up her crown.

She held me tight, taught me to fight
She sang me lullabies every night
In the darkness she gave me light.

The meaning behind these rhymes
The inspiration for all these lines
Is the woman who's always there
The mother I can never compare.
