APA Formatting

How to format your assignment in APA style

Citation

If your entire appendix OR any part of your appendix is copied from another source, you need to give a note at after the data or information to cite both the original author and the copyright holder of the information.

Format

The format used for the copyright statement in a note is the same as the format for notes in tables and figures. You can see examples of the format used in copyright statements according to different sources in the "Pictures, Tables, Figures, & Copyright" LC guide.

Example

The "APA 7th Edition Appendices" video in the LC elearning modules course in D2L has a good example of copyright statements with appendices.
