APA Formatting

How to format your assignment in APA style

Citation

If your entire table or figure OR any part of your table or figure is copied from another source, you need to give a note at the bottom of the table or figure citing both the original author and the copyright holder of the information. The format used for the note is the same for tables and figures (i.e., the format in the example below can also be used with figures). You can see examples of the format used in copyright statements according to different sources in the "Pictures, Tables, Figures, & Copyright" LC guide.

Example

The "APA 7th Edition Tables & Figures" video in the LC elearning modules course in D2L has a good example of copyright statements with tables and figures.
