How to format your assignment in APA style
Integrity and Independence
The reader should be able to understand the content and meaning of a table or figure without having to look at the information in your paper. You should include an explanation of every abbreviation or symbol in a note below a table or figure to help keep the meaning of the information clear. The format of a note will be the same in a table or figure (i.e., the example note below could also be used with a figure).
