The QNL provides two options for researchers to publish their work in open access
Open Access Author Fund
In the Open Access Author Fund, the Qatar National Library (QNL) pays for article processing fees on behalf of the author for articles published in Open Access journals. This fund is open to students, faculty, researchers and staff from any institute of higher education or non-profit research institute within Qatar. The maximum payment per articles is $2,000 USD or equivalent local currency.
Open Access vouchers
In the Open Access vouchers option, the QNL’s partnered with publishers to provide vouchers for eligible authors to publish their research works in one of these vendors’ Open Access journals/books.
