Learning in a university is challenging, and learning online at university has other challenges. This guide is meant to support you to study online as well as in your university classroom. .
Our suggestions are focused on various applications that students use to learn online: Desire2Learn (D2L), the Learning Management System (LMS) at the University of Calgary in Qatar; WCOnline, the appointment calendar for the Learning Commons (LC) specialists; Turnitin, the program that helps minimize accidental and direct copying of published materials (i.e., plagiarism).
