General Test Taking Techniques
Here are a few strategies for general tests taking
Understand all directions for the test before starting.
Keep track of your time, and ask your instructor to put
Time Left
in exam on the board.
Don't get stuck on any one question; just move on and come back to it later if you have time.
Answer the simple questions first, and come back to the difficult ones later.
Make educated guesses by eliminating your choices down to two possible correct ones.
In a reading comprehension exam, the order of the questions usually follows the order of the text.
