Academic Integrity & Plagiarism

Ghost Authorship

When another person or student writes your paper for you and you put your name on the paper as the original author.

This is cheating and can have serious consequences.

According to UCQ, these consequences could include

  • Failing grade
  • Disciplinary probation
  • Suspension
  • Expulsion

Further information can be found in UCQ's statement of principles on academic integrity and dishonesty.

A student who has another person write their paper is lying about the level of their academic ability and / or work.

Do not do it!
