Plagiarism of Text

Plagiarism of text is one of the most common types of plagiarism.

Copying part of a source without citation or reference.

  • Any text taken directly from a source written by another person must be in quotation marks and have a citation with their name(s), the publication year, and page number.
  • Double-check all citations in a paper before submitting it to your teacher(s).
