particularly

especially 

"Particularly" and "especially" are adverbs (they describe verbs and sentences). Never use them at the beginning of a sentence as a transitional word.  Use a comma when a phrase using these words is at the end of a sentence. 

Example: Hand hygiene is important, particularly in healthcare settings.
