#UCQPoetryContest 2023 Winners

We have our winners!!!

Both the fan favourite and our judges’ voting were close contests.

All of our winners will have the opportunity to present their poetry at the next Words and Strings event, which will be announced at a later date.

The winner of the fan favourite contest is Jasmine Carel Reyes for her poem, “For my family.” Her poem can be found at this link.

The third place winner for the #UCQpoetrycontest is Dianne Grace Bautista for her poem, “Chains of the past” Her poem can be found at this link.

The second place winner is Rachel Casipit for her poem, “And so I lived” Her poem can be found at this link.

This year’s #UCQpoetrycontest winner is Mary Nyokabi Kariuki for her poem “The last of us” Her poem can be found at this link.
