Blocking
The blocking method has four steps:
Read the text for understanding.
Divide the text into smaller blocks of information by underlining different ideas, key words, or phrases.
Use your own words to explain each block of information.
Join the different blocks to make a new sentence. You can rearrange the order of blocks and cut or add words if needed.
This method may work for visual learners.
