Clinical Simulation

Educational or technological model of an actual situation

What is Nursing Simulation?

An educational or technological model of an actual situation that is used to educate new students or to predict or estimate outcomes that may be obtainable in practice. Using simulation as part of a student nurse’s clinical education creates a safe environment in which the student can make mistakes, learn from them, and build self-confidence (Ryan et al., 2010).
