Discussion Section of Literature Reviews

After restating the purpose and main themes, discuss how each of the themes is related to the

• purpose and
• problem.

Format

In your discussion related to each theme, you should

1. state your own conclusions based on the results and
2. support your conclusions with literature and/or other sources that were not included in the results section of your paper.

All of this is leading toward you making recommendations and a final conclusion or conclusions.
