Literature Reviews

Narrow the Topic

After you have decided on the topic of your literature review, you need to narrow the topic.

  • Be sure that you focus on a topic that is not too broad or to narrow to be reviewed.
  • Formulate a research question to help you narrow your topic and search for literature to include in your review.

More information can be found in the LC guide for "Formulating a Research Question."
