Mendeley is a free reference manager and PDF reader designed for researchers, students, and academics. Whether you're writing your dissertation, organising your literature for easy retrieval, or need to read journal articles on the go, Mendeley can help.

Zotero

The mobile version of zotero.org allows you to access and edit your Zotero account on your digital devices. However, there are no official Zotero apps for mobile devices.

Android:  Zotdroid and Zandy are the two recommended apps to view and edit your zotero account.

iOS:  Bibup, papership, and Zotpad are the recommended apps to view, edit ,and synchronize your Zotero account.

ENDNOTE BASIC

 

EndNote Basic, which is also called EndNote Web, is a free web-based application offered by Clariant Analytics and Web of Science. This product is a  simplified version of the full EndNote program.

  • EndNote Basic offers the free version as a cloud citation manager. 
  • It provides 2GB of free online storage and 50,000 records.
  • Using EBSCO's Direct Export feature, users can export citations from EBSCO databases to EndNote Web. PDF files can also be uploaded and attached to EndNote records. 
  • Several citation styles can be used in EndNote.
