Getting Started

An annotated bibliography is a useful tool for larger research and writing projects. It is often the first step or assignment for larger assignments. 

The following communication skills for are developed and used in the process of completing an annotated bibliography:

  1. Reading critically
  2. Paraphrase (for supporting points)
  3. Summary (overall argument)
  4. Analysis (identifying key supporting points)
  5. Concise writing (no extra words!)
  6. APA referencing and formatting
