Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP), an independent council for regulating healthcare practitioners in both the government and private sectors, has standards for all health professionals. This document contains requirements and scope of practice for Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Midwives (RM), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), and Nurse Practitioner (NP).
The Code are standards defined by HMC’s Nursing Executive Committee. It builds on HMC’s Staff Code of Conduct to describe the expected professional conduct of nurses and midwives in their daily practice.
This document shows a measurable three year action plan with outcomes, while integrating HMC’s own vision of delivering safe, effective and compassionate care to all patients.
