Nursing Regulations in the state of Qatar

Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP), an independent council for regulating healthcare practitioners in both the government and private sectors, has standards for all health professionals. This document contains requirements and scope of practice for Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Midwives (RM), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), and Nurse Practitioner (NP).

Code of Professional Behavior and Ethics for Nurses and Midwives

The Code are standards defined by HMC’s Nursing Executive Committee. It builds on HMC’s Staff Code of Conduct to describe the expected professional conduct of nurses and midwives in their daily practice.

The Canada Nursing Association's (CNA) Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses is a statement of values upheld by registered nurses and nurses licensed in extended roles, such as nurse practitioners. It demonstrates nurses’ commitment to persons with health-care needs and persons receiving care.
