Access off Campus

How do you get remote access to resources from home or anywhere off campus

Why do you need to sign in?

The main reason for signing in is to verify that you are a current and active member of UCQ. Through your tuition as a student, you pay for the access. In contributing to the furthering of the UCQ institution, you too will have access to the plethora of excellent resources.

In addition, note that  authentication information is collected under the Alberta Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). It is required to verify the identification of the researcher and to authorize access to the database. If you have any questions about the collection or use of this information, contact the UCQ Learning Commons.

How do you authenticate yourself?

Once you have the login screen, enter your UofC e-mail username and password.

Once you have authenticated yourself, you will have access to all databases, electronic journals, and eBooks from University of Calgary.
